A Thank You to Margaret Hedley - After the death of my grandfather, Thomas Hedley, earlier this year, I decided to research the family history. Having viewed the Wheatley Hill History Club's website, I decided to try my luck and e-mailed Margaret Hedley; not because I thought we were related, but because from the website Margaret appeared to be quite active in local and family history.||As it turned out, Margaret and my grandparents were old family friends and I'd really like to thank Margaret for her speedy and helpful reply: Margaret, your information became the solid foundations from which everything else has followed, so thank you very much indeed.||I'd also like to thank the volunteers at the Wheatley Hill Heritage Centre for their friendliness, particularly Billy Middleton for his help and knowledge when I first visited the centre. ||Humble apologies to one and all for the delay in signing this guest book....
