My dear Grandma lived at 7x8th street and it was always a thrill to see her. Sadly, the last time I saw her was during the 1970’s. I do have my memories and at 72, they are still as fresh as ever. Memories of the 4 mile walk, the record shop the sweet shop and ice cream cafe, not to mention the Regal and Royalty cinema’s. They were really happy days.... Collapse
