was born and bred in Wheatley Hill and eldest of 11 children. My Grandparents were John, (Jackie) & Annie Loftus, they lived all their lives in Wheatley and I spent many happy holidays there. Have seen my Grandad on one of the photographs on your site. I have a photo of Grandad walking under the Pit Banner which I will forward to you.
