Wheatley Hill memories - My family have lived in Wheatley Hill from 1896, firstly in Emily Street(my Grandfather) and Anne Street(my Grandmother) eventually moving to Henderson Avenue. Mother was called Ellen (Nellie) and I had Uncles Gordon and Bill, and an Aunt called Elsie, I still have at least three cousins still living in Wheatley Hill, all called Pryor. I would like any info on a school friend called Arthur White who used to live in Wordsworth Avenue and then moved to live near to the Cemetery. Have visited the Heritage Centre on a couple of occasions and always been amazed at the dedication shown by those in attendance.... Collapse
