LOCAL FAMILY HISTORY DAY - After World War 2

Saturday 26 September between 10.00am and 1.00pm

Wheatley House on Woodlands Avenue

In 2015 our Local History Day is moving to a new venue. It will be held in Wheatley House on Woodlands Avenue on Saturday 26 September between 10.00am and 1.00pm. The theme for the day is "After World War 2" and we are looking at the period 1945 to 1959.

Beamish Museum will be bringing a display of 1950's household items and also Suzan's Vintage and Rockabilly Gear will be there selling items from the 1950's including vintage clothes, shoes, bags accessories, also records.

We have hired vintage crockery from "Little Cup of Love" and intend to offer afternoon tea in the morning
